At Pop Education, we are obsessed with creating exceptional online and blended adult experiences for learners across VET, higher education, corporate, industry and community sectors.
We combine creativity, compliance, and innovation to make learning truly work — for educators, organizations, and learners alike.
Our team brings years of experience in vocational training, assessment design, and education strategy.
Every resource and program we build aligns with national training standards and industry requirements.
We blend pedagogy and technology to create engaging, results-driven learning experiences.
We make learning personal, inspiring, and accessible, without losing sight of quality or impact.
I loved working with Shauna on the Commonwealth of Learning project, where we remotely mentored 3 teams from across Africa in their journey of discovery of e-learning and development of their Moodle site. During our weekly mentoring sessions, we discussed learning materials and opportunities for embedding activities to support engagement and learning in their LMS. Considering site and technology limitations for each location added additional opportunities for creativity in design. We could really see improvement in knowledge and design at our conclusion.
We created the most fantastic asset, which demonstrated the journey of a homeless woman in her 50s. It was an animation to be included in the Homelessness Support Skill Set, which put the pieces of a jigsaw together with a voiceover of the woman's conversations with a homeless support worker.
One of my favourite projects was the enhanced assets we created for DET. We were able to step outside of what we do every day and embrace a more creative way of thinking. Whilst guided by competency standards, we were not bound by them from a compliance sense, so we could drill down to the most important key messages for the student in an engaging, interactive and fun way.
Our relationship with Sarah at Pop Education is a true testament of what a working collaboration is about. Approachable, informative, willing, exuberant and an absolute joy to be around. We invited Sarah to take part in an assessment validation for our eLearning business.
We have also utilized Sarah's consultancy offering to provide a ground up review of our learning management system. The result, over 15 recommendations outlining an engagement strategy that focuses on simple and effective learner interactions.

Yes! We've partnered with Blackwater Projects to develop comprehensive TAE40122 resources in both traditional and digital formats. Our digital products include interactive SCORM-based materials, LMS shells (Canvas or Moodle), animations, games, simulations, and even a simulated RTO staff portal. All materials have been validated by former ASQA TAE auditors and are continuously updated to reflect changes in standards.
Absolutely! Our digital development team knows most LMS platforms and tools. While our TAE40122 digital products come in Canvas or Moodle shells, we can customise materials for other learning management systems. We help you maximise what you already have by adding interactive elements, gamification, and custom-built programs that make the learner experience more engaging.
It means if you can think it, our team can build it. We design tailored e-learning experiences from scratch based on your specific needs—whether that's interactive simulations, gamified learning, branching scenarios, or real-world assessment tools. Unlike off-the-shelf resources, custom-built programs are designed specifically for your learners, your content, and your delivery context.
We deliver webinars and face-to-face training on a range of VET sector topics. Our team has a long history of professional development in areas like learning design, assessment validation, compliance, and digital learning tools. We also offer our TAE bites and Pop bites courses for self-paced professional development that you can complete anytime.
We have assessment specialists and ex-auditors on our team who can help you develop assessment systems that work for your organisation while upholding compliance. Our TAE40122 assessment tools were validated in two stages by former ASQA TAE auditors, and we continuously update materials in line with changes to SRTOs, AQF, and other standards.
Yes! We're happy to customise the TAE40122 digital products to suit your RTO's needs.
